Tamagotchi is an onscreen virtual life form, the behaviour and emotion of which is reflected by the way in which it responds to the user's behaviour. Minimal visuals encourage the user's creativity to expand upon its simple form through imagination, reinforcing an intimate appeal to each individual user. If the user invades the confines, which the creature inhabits it's movement dramatically accelerates. It is solely reliant on the user's interpretation and imagination whether the creature becomes suddenly anxious, aggressive, playful, excited and so on.
