Through digital interaction eToy captures the vital essence of a toy. Many traditional toys such as dolls and Wendy houses are essentially virtual entities coming alive within the imagination of the user, often leading to an intimate user experience. Using the user's creative input as a method of achieving an engrossing interactive experience was the prime motivation behind the project's conception. Ultimately eToy takes the form of an abstract drawing tool in which the user is encouraged to manipulate the onscreen forms, thus realising a creative outcome that, in the nature of all toys, is limited only by user's creativity and imaginative capacity.
