Inspired by the often instinctive action of tapping or drumming ones fingers while waiting, in essence Repeat-A-Beat is a rhythm based memory game. Using a plastic toy drum and a microphone the game begins with the user tapping out a rhythm, which is recorded by a computer. The computer then adds two randomly timed beats at the end of the user's rhythm and this is played back as audio to the user. Having listened to this audio the user must repeat the sequence of beats that the computer played. If the user successfully repeats the computer's rhythm the cycle continues with the computer adding another two beats, and so on...
